So it's month 3 of my sojourn back in education and I am exhausted. I absolutely am loving being able to draw and design all the time and I'm noticing improvement in my work. But between keeping up on homework, all the extra work the teachers want you to do, and working so that i can still pay rent (thank god for parents and grandparents) I'm surprised I'm still standing.
who know that drawing for 11 hrs a day could be tiring? lol.
I am enjoying things, and will probably be posting some school work soon, since that's the only work i have time for right now.
Congrats. What are you studying for???
I just started studying animation
Nice. I'm going to go to major in 2D and 3D animation next year when I graduate. Unfortunatly there are only about 3 schools in my state that offer it, two of which are in high living cost areas. Debt, here I come!!! If you don't mind me asking, is the course work more hands on or more textbook style learning??? Do you need a strong founding in math??? (sorry for the questions it's just that I have not had the chance to get this info from someone who is studying it)
No problem, The school's in toronto called Max the Mutt. It's much more hand's on and the first semester of 1st year is largely art fundamentals (ie. paint, life drawing, principles of drawing, perspective, design). So far you don't need a strong founding in math, i mean math helps in everything, but i haven't really used it here yet.
