Amazing idea :D and it appears to be a relatively simpel construction, but I'm can't really see how you make the thumb move. Would you mind explaining how that works?

ya no probs. it's exactly the same as the fingers to the palm, but then there's another eyehook to the left of my thumb. so the string goes from my thumb to the left then up to the palm and then along the hands thumb. so as i bring my thumb across my palm it reacts similar.

I'm just speechlesss. Honest to god speechless. That is the greatest things I've seen this year (and I saw a guy on a Jetpack).

Don't suppose you could post a picture of the back of the hand. Am trying to figure out how you got the fingures to relax back. I'm guessing you have a spring et-up of some sort.
