not really feasible anytime soon. I'd have to basically re-program in from scratch in something like an app to run standalone, and I don't really have the programming know-how right now. Maybe someday

I'll take you through the hour portion. the coding is all pretty much the same for each bit after that (ie; seconds, minutes, day, etc.) If you need more detail there's plenty of good tutorials out there. just search for flash clock.

ok. so first you need to set up a variable for the hours;

var hours:int

then you need an event listener to run that will update the time. I placed it on a movie clip that's always there like the back of the clock with the numbers on it;

clock.addEventListener(Event.ENTER_FRAME, updatetime);

the update time portion being the name of the function. then you write the function;

function updatetime(event:Event):void{
currentDate = newDate();
hours = currentDate.getHours();
wtih(event.target){
hourhand.rotation = ((hours + (minutes/60)) /12) * 360;
}
}

so the currentDate and .getHours(); pull the time from the computer that's running the flash (which is why it's the current time for everyone who looks at it) and the bit of math there turns the movie clip that is the hour hand of the clock to the correct position.

I love how you make the flash and the gears and anything *__* If there's any mechanism designs that I love the most, it would be the gears itself.

I whole heartedly agree with you. In fact I already tried to find a program that could set it as wallpaper, but it only worked for steaming videos and animations, not something like this =[

So yes, pretty pretty please with a cherry on top, aternox? That would be -thoroughly- amazing XD
